Every device donated to Recycle My Devices is either resold to a certified electronic refurbisher or recycler. Once received our team wipes all accessible personal data and performs functionality tests on your devices to determine if they can be resold. If a device can’t be resold it is then recycled for parts.

No, please recycle accessories such as chargers and other items at your local Goodwill or electronics stores. This helps us with our shipping costs while continuing to help the community and environment.
Yes! Please remove any device passcode locks as well as sign out of and delete any personal accounts such as iCloud, Samsung, and Google on your device. Then if possible, reset your device to its factory settings.

You can easily reset most devices by going to the Settings menu. For specifics on your particular device, you can either search online for instructions or go here for our step by step instructions for most devices.
Unfortunately, we are unable provide a charitable tax receipt, as we do not qualify as a non-profit organization. Contact us if you would like us to provide you with a donation acknowledgement receipt.
